Through The Lens Thursday: Week 2
|January 8, 2014||Posted by Jennifer under Photography|
I’ll admit it, my photography skills are a bit rusty. It’s only been a million years since I took a photography class in college. Since I started this blog, I’ve come to the realization that I need to improve my photography skills or else.
I just happened to see Alison Lee’s weekly photography challenge over on her blog, Writing, Wishing and I thought, “You betcha, I’m gonna take this challenge and step up my photography skills this year!”
So, each week (or when I have a decent pic), I’ll be posting a new photo on my blog as part of Alison and Greta Funk’s (of GFunkified) Through The Lens Thursday challenge.
I welcome your comments, critiques, gasps and shrieks in the comments section below.
If you’d like to join me in participating in the #ThroughTheLensThursday challenge, head over to our Flickr group to get a list of the weekly photography prompts.
This week, the photography prompt is: Corner
Through The Lens Thursday: Week 2 “Corner”
That’s right. I took a picture of the corner of one of Baby B’s books while it was sitting on his lap. It’s the only thing that’s really in focus. If you look closely, you can see the white paper fibers sticking out of the blue jacket. I thought it turned out cool. And cute with that SWEET little foot sticking out.
This one’s even cuter.
Photographing Baby B is no easy task since he stays in motion 99.999% of the time. Fortunately, the motion in this shot added to its overall cuteness. Baby toes: I could just eat um up!
What do you think? On a scale of 1-10 please rate these pics. 1 being ‘Hang up the camera.’ 10 being ‘Look out Photography World here she comes!’ LOL
